Executive Summary

Jembi Health Systems received a grant from the IDRC for the purpose of carrying out the Open Architecture Standards and Information Systems (OASIS II), namely developing capacity, sharing knowledge and good principles across eHealth in Africa.

The Grant has generated and supports the following projects:


South Africa Program | Open Architectures, Standards and Information Systems (OASIS)

The OASIS project, funded by the IDRC, has resulted in offices in South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe, comprising dedicated health informatics specialists.

Rwanda | Rwanda Health Information Exchange (RHIE)

The RHEA project comprises of an international project team and is funded by the IDRC, Rockefeller Foundation, PEPFAR and the HIPPP initiative. The international project team has designed an enterprise architecture based solution at country level, and seeks to further strengthen eHealth and health information systems within Rwanda.
