Jembi Health Systems Receives Internship Award from Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security

As a result of the several internship opportunities granted to Mozambican students coming from various tertiary education institutions, some of which turned into full time employees at our offices, Jembi Health Systems Mozambique was acknowledged with the Internship Award by the National Institute of Employment (INEP), the regulatory and operational arm for internships at the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security.

Maputo, January 2018 – As the institution responsible for the promotion of employment and internship opportunities, The National Institute of Employment held, at the VIP Hotel in Maputo, an award gala led by her Excellency the Governor of Maputo City to acknowledge organizations and companies that foster training and job creation opportunities to young Mozambicans. Jembi Health Systems was awarded the prize at the prestigious ceremony and hailed as an example of an organization that formalized its cooperation with INEP through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and the provision of professional opportunities to Mozambican students and young professionals. Jembi Health Systems has been hosting interns annually since 2008 in the areas of informatics, project management, statistics, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization, and marketing. There have been cases of interns who performed exceptionally well and were employed on a full-time basis at Jembi upon successful completion of their university degrees.
