Jembi/UEM-Moasis supports the training of 35 students in the Mid-level Health Statistics course of the Regional Center for Health Development (CRDS-Maputo).
Maputo, Mozambique – December 2017 – Jembi Health Systems (Jembi) and UEM under the UEM-Moasis project of full support in terms of financial and human resources in the training of 35 students of the Course of Medium Technicians of Sanitary Statistics. To this end, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Regional Center for Health Development-Maputo (CRDS-Maputo). The support provided for the training of the 35 health statisticians is part of an extensive training program aimed at transferring knowledge and skills to national health and social workers. Since 2009, the organization has trained 1,589 health staff, 282 of which were trained last year. The training will ensure that the National Health System has more Mozambican staff at all levels with the necessary technical capacity to collect, analyze and disseminate statistical data in the sector.
