The School of Computer Science at UKZN has a wide variety of research interests including image processing, bioinformatics, game programming, opensource software and Internet technologies. UKZN is currently partnering with Jembi on the HEAL programme, which seeks to provide a research environment for the development of advance informatics design and building blocks for low resource settings.
