Finance and Administration Officer

Before joining Jembi Health Systems, Douglas started off his working career as Assistant Accountant at the Ministry of Finance, seconded to Ministry of Community Development and Social Services.  He then moved to World Vision Zambia as Program Accountant.  Later, he joined USAID/Zambia as Lead Voucher Examiner and was shortly afterwards promoted to Operating Expense Accountant/Budget Analyst and later as Project Accountant.  While working for USAID/Zambia, he undertook a six-week assignment in Baghdad, Iraq at USAID/IRAQ. He briefly worked for Frontier Development Associates, a business consultancy firm as Finance and Administration Officer where he gained private sector experience.  Most recently he worked for FHI360 under Zambia Prevention Care and Treatment Partnership (ZPCT) project as Senior Finance and Administration Officer.

As Finance and Administration Officer, Douglas is responsible for all finance and administration roles of the Zambia Office and works closely with finance staff at the head office in Cape Town, South Africa.
