Celebrating Innovation: Jembi Honored as NSTF-South32 Awards Finalist - Watch the Ceremony

We are thrilled to announce our selection as a finalist for the prestigious NSTF-South32 Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) Award. This recognition honors our significant contributions to digital health in South Africa and other low-resource settings across Africa and Asia.

Jembi, which Dr. Christopher Seebregts founded as a spin-off of the South African Medical Research Council, has been at the forefront of creating cutting-edge digital health solutions. Our open-source platforms, including the Open Health Information Mediator (OpenHIM) and Jembi Master Patient Index (JemPI), have played crucial roles in strengthening health systems across the globe.

We are deeply honoured to be among the esteemed finalists for the 2023/2024 NSTF-South32 Awards, often referred to as the 'Science Oscars of South Africa'. This recognition underscores our team's dedication to advancing science, technology, and innovation in the healthcare sector.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, July 11, 2024, as a hybrid event broadcast simultaneously from Johannesburg and Cape Town. We eagerly anticipate this celebration of excellence in South African innovation and research.

For those interested in watching the ceremony, the NSTF is offering a live broadcast of the gala event.

You can register to watch online from 18:00 to 21:30 (GMT+2) on July 11th
