We proudly participated in the Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) Job Fair and Training Opportunities event, held at the School of Marine and Coastal Sciences in Chuabo Dembe, Quelimane.
The fair, strategically timed to coincide with Mozambique's 50th Independence celebrations, brought together students, graduates, employers, and training institutions to explore pathways for academic and professional growth in today's rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Connecting Youth with Digital Opportunities
With a strong focus on how artificial intelligence can serve youth and create new professional horizons, the fair featured interactive exhibitions, structured networking sessions, and expert-led lectures designed to inspire the next generation of Mozambican professionals.

Azerlino Guambe, Jembi's Technician for the Zambezi Tech Hub project, presented the organisation's initiatives across Zambézia province, Mozambique, and the African continent. His presentation highlighted Jembi's flagship internship programme, which has successfully transitioned several recent graduates to full-time employment opportunities within the digital health sector.
Driving Digital Transformation
In addition to exhibition participation, Jembi's Country Coordinator delivered a comprehensive lecture on digital transformation strategies for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Mozambique.
The session engaged over 100 students in discussions about the potential of digital tools to drive entrepreneurship, create sustainable employment opportunities, and foster inclusive economic growth.

We are committed to supporting youth development, fostering technological innovation, and strengthening Mozambique's digital future through strategic partnerships like these with academic institutions and industry stakeholders.
