Jembi Mozambique recently participated in the Job Fair at Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM), held at the main campus. The event attracted over 700 students from various universities, including UEM.
At the fair, Jembi showcased its 15-year history of work in Mozambique, focusing on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and information systems. The company highlighted its flagship internship program, developed in partnership with UEM, Universidade Politécnica, and the National Institute of Employment (INEP).
This internship program has provided opportunities to more than 30 university students since 2011. Notably, 30% of these interns have been hired as full-time staff, demonstrating the program's success in fostering talent. During the event, students visiting the Jembi stand connected with staff members and learned how to explore future internship and job opportunities with the company.
Prof. Manuel Guilherme Júnior, the Vice-Chancellor of UEM, visited Jembi's stand during the fair. This visit highlighted the ongoing collaboration between UEM and Jembi, particularly in our shared commitment to creating internship and job opportunities for university students.
Jembi Mozambique's participation in the UEM Job Fair underscores its ongoing commitment to nurturing local talent and strengthening partnerships within the academic community.
