Jembi's Infrastructure team is in the final stages of installing the technical infrastructure, hardware, and software for the innovative Zambezi Tech Hub (ZTH) in Quelimane City, Zambézia Province.
This important facility, found at the Zambezia Province Delegation of the National Institute of Employment (INEP), which is a partner in the initiative, will soon help boost business growth in central Mozambique.
Building Momentum Through Strategic Partnerships
The project has gained momentum this quarter with our recent engagement sessions with key educational stakeholders:
- Directors from high schools, universities, and training institutes
- Stakeholders came across Zambézia, Tete, Manica, and Sofala provinces
- All gathered at the future hub site to explore collaboration opportunities
These strategic partnerships will be crucial in identifying and nurturing the next generation of entrepreneurs who will benefit from the hub's services.

The Tech Hub is designed to be a dynamic space for business incubation, mentoring, and acceleration, with a special focus on transforming the business landscape across the four central provinces. It will provide targeted support to young entrepreneurs leading small and medium enterprises throughout central Mozambique, offering services including co-working spaces, entrepreneurship events, and investment opportunities.
Once operational in approximately two months, the Zambezi Tech Hub will offer a comprehensive range of services, including training in digital platforms, practical workshops, and networking events. Jembi Health Systems will play a key role in delivering training on digital platforms, helping youth digitalise their businesses, and enabling them to provide digitisation services to larger companies in the region.
This important initiative forms part of the VAMOZ DIGITAL! project, generously funded by the European Union through the Italian Agency for International Cooperation (AICS). The project leverages the combined expertise of consortium partners COSV, Jembi, FAMOD, IDEÁRIO, and MOASIS, each contributing valuable expertise to ensure the long-term success and lasting impact of the Tech Hub for the region's emerging business leaders.
