Jembi was recognized as a key actor and crucial partner of the National Health System of Mozambique.
Our staff who work in direct contact with the Ministry of Health, its provincial directorates and health facilities were included in the first phase of the national vaccination program in recognition of Jembi’s strategic and operational role in the National Health System.
The prioritization criteria were established by the MOH, who are vaccinating 31 Jembi technicians in this first priority phase at the Josá Macamo Hospital Vaccination Center.
Including implementers, infrastructure personnel and staff involved in screening campaigns, surveys and transportation of samples, and other Jembi staff who are over 60 and/or with comorbidities. According to the Maputo City Health Directorate , the remaining Jembi staff may be covered in the second phase.
